Star hero's brother in controversy!!

Star hero Surya's brother Karthi, who is also a famous hero in both Kollywood and Tollywood has now snowballed into a controversy. The actor, at at a Telugu awards show in Hyderabad, had said that he liked the Telugu audiences more as they come to theaters to watch films and are also generous in their appreciation.
Offlate, this video clip of Karthi's comment has gone viral on the Internet, and has raised eyebrows in Kollywood given the fact that both the actor and his brother Suriya have a significant market in Andhra Pradesh.
When media got in touch with the actor regarding the controversy, he clarified, "Even I was surprised to get calls from my friends who had viewed this video on the Internet and had informed me about this. All I can say in my defence is that, I belong to this state and this industry. The Tamil film industry, the people here, and my fans are dear to me.
He went on adding, "Tamil audiences are very sensitive and are emotionally attached to their heroes, while the Telugu audiences watch films for pure entertainment value".
Poor Karthi,who made those statements to express his gratitude  to telugu audinece for supporting him here did not expect this reaction from tamil thambis!!
