‘110 crores budget’ – This term has tickled the funny bones of ace
director SS Rajamouli. Recently, the fourth estate was abuzz about the
reports that Rajamouli was doing a tri-lingual movie with Mahesh Babu
and the budget would be a whopping 110 crores. Now putting up a
nostalgic smile, Rajamouli said making a bi-lingual itself is becoming
very difficult and a tr-lingual would only be an exaggeration.
“theeyadaanike chukkalu kanipisthunnayi. Malli moodu bhaashallona? No,
thanks”, says Rajamouli. Now that’s an interesting statement! “I’ll be
happy if my producer allots half that amount for a bi-lingual”, adds the
director.
