T-town superstar Nagarjuna, focused on getting 'the right look' for his new roles in his upcoming films, Rajanna (a period saga) and the socio-fantasy, Damarukam, has hired celebrity Bollywood hairstylist, Steve, to help him to don different looks.
Though the hair-styling for the new roles is time consuming, Steve, who’s worked with Nagarjuna in King previously, managed to get the hairstyles right and gives credit tothe seasoned actor for his dedication to perfection.
“He is quite meticulous with his work, drawing up a few sketches before zeroing in on the perfect style. He stays put on the setsto sustain the length of the hairdo,” added a crew member. Commanding a fee of Rs 20 lakh, Steve’s services don't come cheap. However, Nagarjuna feels the appreciation he received for his new look in Rajanna, thanks to Steve’s styling efforts, is well worth the pay cheque he earns, clarifying, “It’s even more difficult for period films set in 1950s, but he did a fabulous job.”
Earlier, Allu Arjun too had a permanent hairstylist on the sets of his film Arya 2.
