Why is Anushka focusing more on Tamil cinema and ignoring Telugu film
industry? There is an interesting fact behind why Anushka prefers
Kollywood to Tollywood. Anushka is being offered roles opposite senior
heroes in Telugu film industry whereas she is getting superb offers from
the younger stars.
Anushka wants to act with young heroes in Telugu but most of them are ignoring her due to height problems. Anushka is a very tall lady and suits best opposite six feet heroes. All the frontline young heroes in Tollywood are fairly shorter than Anushka. Only Mahesh and Prabhas are taller than her. They are into their thirties and Anushka doesn't have a chance to star opposite twenty odd stars due to this problem.
In Tamil she is getting offers from Simbu, Arya and other young heroes as well as senior stars. Therefore she has a chance to explore new characters and reach more audience. In Telugu she was confined to super seniors most of the time and hence she decided to move her base to Tamil cinema.
