It has become a fashion for Telugu heroes to look up to Bollywood and
other film industries to become much bigger stars. The younger
generation heroes are hungry to explore Tamil and Hindi markets. Few of
our heroes are seriously looking to have a career in Bollywood as well.
For example Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan has been in plans to make debut in Bollywood soon. There were reports that he would be doing Zanjeer remake in Hindi. He is just three films old and there is lot to prove in Telugu itself. There is no absolute urgency if not need for him to explore new waters. He is carrying the burden of hopes of millions of mega fans and he should concentrate to take his father's legacy ahead.
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu says that he is not interested in Bollywood at all. He doesn't want to do a Hindi film as he believes that there is so much for him to do in Tollywood. He wanted to take Telugu cinema to the next level. It is high time for youngsters like Charan to think like Mahesh and stop looking beyond Tollywood.
