Apparently, YVS Chowdary thought of launching Sai Dharam Tej as hero and Pawan Kalyan too has given the nod for the project. While he was busy with the script work of 'Rey', YVS's Saleem got released and earned a disaster talk. As his career is in doldrums with back-to-back flops, YVS sent a message to Pawan asking him to choose some other director in place of him for Dharam Tej's launch vehicle.
Immediately, Pawan sent an SMS: "Dear Chowdary, I saw your message about your concern. It is not success that matters, it is the commitment to the cause you believe in that really matters. I go by one's character, I believe in your commitment and your confidence towards life and always I will be there and I will stand by you."
