Well, it seems like bad luck is haunting a couple of big Telugu flicks that are struggling to find decent number of theatres and proper positioning. They happen to be Nagarjuna's Bhai and Venky's Masala. Here goes the actual story.
Undoubtedly there is some sort of connection gap between these two aged heroes and present generation youth audiences of Tollywood. That is making these heroes tough to find right position at theatres and generate required hype. Though Bhai and Masala created hype earlier, the delay of Attarintiki Daredi and Ramayya Vastavayya affected them hugely. Finally Bhai has settled down for oct 25th and Masala is still struck with the idea of November 1st and is planning to shift to Nov 14th. One wonders why is Bhai releasing during no-holiday atmosphere and why Masala is shifting again.
Nagarjuna says that after lot of disturbances in release dates due to postponement of other flicks led him this date. However he initially thought of releasing Bhai for Diwali, but the release of Hrithik Roshan's Krish 3 in Telugu forced him to advance his Bhai. Actually Hrithik's Krish 3 is releasing simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu on same day, and theatres across the state are running for the flick as children and family audiences are expected to watch it in huge numbers.
And with Krish 3 on Nov 1st, even Masala is not interested to test the waters. That's the story of Hrithik's troubling to our senior heroes' movies folks.
